By leveraging telemedicine to help local providers diagnose and treat Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), we strive to ensure every child has the gift of vision, no matter where in the world they are born.

Every year, tens of thousands of premature babies lose their sight to Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) — a permanent and preventable form of blindness. More of these fragile infants are surviving thanks to improved newborn care, especially in low-resource countries. But without the oxygen blending equipment that neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) in the developed world takes for granted, survival often comes with a higher risk of ROP.
The solution is simple: regular eye exams and timely treatment, costing less than USD 60 per child, can preserve their sight for life.
